Seitan Puff Pastry, a perfect weekend snack

Makes: 6 – Prep: 10 min – Cook: 20 min


Ingredients:

  • 6 pastry sheets

  • 200 gr seitan natural

  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley

  • 2 tsp sambal

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

  • pinch of black peper.


Do:

  1. Preheat the oven to 210°C.

  2. Cut the pastry sheets into 10x10cm squares.

  3. Put the pastries on a baking tray.

  4. Blend the seitan and all spices until the seitan is crumbled.

  5. Spoon the mixture evenly onto one half of the sheets.

  6. Fold the sheets and use a fork to paste the pastry together. Brush with soy milk.

  7. Bake around 20 minutes until golden.
